If you would like to make a contribution to the Lewis and Clark 2004 Bicentennial Expedition and its educational cause, your support would be greatly appreciated.

This project began as a dream in the late 1960's and has been in the planning stage since 2000. I have done most of the backbreaking work in making this endeavor a reality. I have personally spent hundreds of hours on the phone, internet, writting letters, obtaining information, researching the history and route, and gathering supplies. I believe this project to be rather unique. Yes there will be thousands of people participating in the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial and many retracing the route themselves. However none to my knowledge will be paddling solo the westward route and updating the journey for the World Wide Web. If you have ever dreamed of visiting the trail of Lewis & Clark you now will be able to from the comforts of your own home or office. If you would like to make a contribution to this project, please contact me regarding any information. You may also contribute by purchasing a T-Shirt or the book " First Across the Continent". A portion of the proceeds will go to support In The Wake Of Discovery.

Contribute by purchasing an "official" expedition T-Shirt.
The purchase of In the Wake of Discovery T-shirts will also help tremendously. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to American Rivers and the L&CTHF. The remaining will go directly to support the journey. Please click-on T-shirts for more information.

Contribute by purchasing a book.
Cottage Micro Serivices and E-School is genereously offering to contribute a portion of the sales of the book "First Across the Continent" to In The Wake Of Discovery. This book written by Noah Brooks tells the history of the Lewis & Clark Expedition in 1803-1804. You can order an Audio CD, mp3CD, or multimedia eBook of this book by clicking here.

If you would like to contribute directly to American Rivers or the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation directly, please do so by contacting them through their web site or mailing to the address provided below.
